The Tower

Lightning splits the top of the tower, fire consumes the walls, and the figures below watch a building whose permanence can no longer be trusted. The Tower marks sudden disruption, revelation, or structural failure. It does not prove that the inhabitants built badly or deserved their ruins. Sometimes the blow comes from outside; sometimes the cracks have long been visible. This card does not predict a literal disaster. It asks what in your life can withstand pressure and what happens if one critical assumption stops working. In a crisis, protect people, body, home, money, and information first. Meaning can wait until smoke no longer fills your lungs. Then examine what happened without a facade and without needing to call everything a blessing. Some things can be repaired, some rebuilt, and some cannot be recovered. Truth does not need casualties to be true.
Reversed
The Tower reversed does not always mean a larger explosion has merely been delayed. It may show a concealed crack, a near miss, a controlled demolition, or someone still living in the aftershocks of an old earthquake. The walls stand on the outside, but inside, every creak sounds like the next bolt of lightning. Separate present danger from the memory of danger. Check the facts: What is damaged, what still works, and what could one qualified assessment clarify? If the risk is real, reduce the load, make a backup plan, and repair the foundation before the surface. If the crisis is over, body and mind may still need time or support to lower the alarm. Honesty does not guarantee everything can be saved, and you should not endanger yourself to expose the truth. Sometimes wisdom means leaving the building quietly instead of giving a speech about architecture in the stairwell.
