Knight of Wands

The Knight of Wands rides through fire in full armor, banner held high. Unlike the Page, he is no longer investigating a possibility; he has already bound his name, strength, and reputation to an action. The card favors determined movement when the destination is named and the consequences accepted. Before leaving, decide what you seek, what cost you consent to pay, and what sign will make you stop. Courage serves direction; urgency merely wears direction as decoration. Armor protects against a blow, not a bad decision.
Reversed
The reversed Knight of Wands shows movement that has lost its steering. Enthusiasm may become scattered action, promises may become deeds without preparation, or frustration may become aggression. Sometimes speed is also a way to escape what you would have to feel if you stopped. Halt the horse before choosing another direction. Assess the damage, keep your promises visible, and repair what you have already broken. Make the next action small and reversible. A powerful feeling does not make a decision urgent, and an apology does not replace changed behavior.
